Tentoonstelling van 28 november t/m 22 december 2024 met Inne Feenstra, Alessia Taló en Yu Shi Wei & Anna Musikhina. Opening op 28 november met een performance van Alessio Taló.

Deze kunstenaars presenteren werken die op de grens liggen van beeldende kunst, geluid, muziek en performance; een dubbelzinnig perspectief; een interdisciplinaire blik door middel van interactieve en interdisciplinaire installaties, afgewisseld met performances en publieke momenten:

Fanfare van Hildur Elísa Jónsdóttir: demons possessed (laughing women) uitgevoerd door Amanda Payne & Sabine Pendry.
Een muziek gedreven performance, geïnspireerd door stadsgeluiden zoals achteruitrijdende vrachtwagens en stemmen. Het zal tweemaal worden uitgevoerd; één op de opening.

De cirkelvormige resonante installatie ‘What if We Had Danced’, van Alessia Taló, biedt troost en herstel. Patronen en geluiden verweven in monumentale doeken, refereren naar tarantella muziek, dans en spinbewegingen.

In de filminstallatie ‘DAWG’ van Inne Feenstra zie je, extreem vertraagd, honden rennen afgewisseld met shots van opspringende stenen, wat een hypnotiserend effect heeft. Zeven gemotoriseerde trommels werken als luidsprekers, accentueren de bewegingen en creëren een  fysieke, ruimtelijke ervaring.

‘Guān Luò Yīn’ van Anna Musikhina & Yu Shi Wei laat je reflecteren op carrière, lot en gezondheid.  De ruimte is het medium, een installatie met audio, video, en rode hangende textiel vormen. Zintuiglijke ervaringen slepen je mee in de overgang van fysieke naar spirituele wereld.

These artists present works that lie on the border of visual art, sound, music and performances; an ambiguous perspective; an interdisciplinary view through interactive and interdisciplinary installations, interspersed with performances, public moments:

Fanfare by Hildur Elísa Jónsdóttir: demons possessed (laughing women) performed by Amanda Payne & Sabine Pendry. A music-driven performance, inspired by city sounds such as reversing trucks and voices. It will be performed twice; one the opening!

The circular resonant installation ‘What if We Had Danced’, by Alessia Taló: offers comfort and recovery. Patterns and sounds interwoven in monumental latex fabrics refer to tarantella music, dance and spider movements.

In Inne Feenstra’s film installation ‘DAWG’ you see dogs running, extremely slowed down, alternating with shots of jumping stones, which has a hypnotic effect.
Seven motorized drums work like speakers, accentuating the movements and creating a physical, spatial experience.

‘Guān Luò Yīn’ by Anna Musikhina & Yu Shi Wei makes you reflect on career, fate and health.  The space is the medium, an installation with audio, video, and red hanging textile shapes. Sensory experiences take you along in the transition from the physical to the spiritual world.
